Too much Bonehead, Stand Firm and Strong Arm. Definitely a Tier 3 team. To be fair - The Democrats have too much Dodge (the draft), Side Step and Dump Off. _________________ Listen to THREE DIE BLOCK- The First and Best Blood Bowl Podcast! The contents of this package are the goods. |

I already played a republican blood bowl team in season 3, Mission Accomplished. This is where star Werewolf Abe Lincoln came from.

Thanks to Cloud and congrats on his 2-1 win!
However, since folks only care about how the Gobbos did - I was down 2-0 but threw a Goblin for a TD with NO REROLLS! - Cloud had TWO Beastmen thrown out for trying to foul my Blodging Pogoer. Both fouls were UNSUCCESSFUL! - The stupid "must field 11 players if you can" rule screwed both my Bombardier and Chainsaw so I only got them for ONE TURN. The Chainsaw did almost kill a Beastman with his one Block and got Cloud to burn his Apoth! - My Ball n' Chainer rolled two Skulls and a Both Down on a Three Die Block (no rerolls) to KO himself. - I had 3 Casualties (that would have counted) and at least 1 was from a Goblin throwing a THREE DIE BLOCK! - Cloud had a Beastman charted by thrown rock and had six of them in the D/I box at the end of the game (3 Goblin charts, 1 rock and 2 kicked out) - I fouled early and often and had 3 Chaos Warriors in the KO box at different times. I got kicked out only once. I know I had at least one 9 in there when rolling for injury...so close! - At the end of the game, I had 2 Trolls, 1 Pogoer and 5 Goblins. Cloud had 2 Beastmen and 3 Chaos Warriors. As it should be. Fun game! I might have even won if my Pogoer had not failed 2 Dodges back-to-back early in the first when I was trying to move my Goblin swarm past midfield. Next time! _________________ Listen to THREE DIE BLOCK- The First and Best Blood Bowl Podcast! The contents of this package are the goods. |

That was a great game!
However.. since I wasnt playing "for real" things would have been different. I wouldnt have carelessly tossed pieces into your trolls, or left my ball carrier without protection, or left the field wide open for you to toss a goblin in for a TD. HOWEVER I loved the game.. it was fun.. I can't wait for the real thing when I get credit for all those casulties i did. _________________

I know some things would have been different but a lot would not have. I have faced players that throw pieces at my guys trying to wipe my entire team out. That is what I thought you were trying to do and you came pretty close in ther second.
You really didn't have enough players left on Turn 8 of the second to stop that Goblin-Throw TD. After the Thrown Rock and my 3DB chart, you only had 5 guys left and I had a Troll off the line. No one could have based him and that throw would still have gone off. Of course, you may have had more guys if the rest of the game had been played differently. _________________ Listen to THREE DIE BLOCK- The First and Best Blood Bowl Podcast! True... I basically just said "screw it" in the second half... which i think was a good as well as bad strategy.
I probably would have had about 8-9 guys left had I played more sensibly. _________________
