So the Internets abound with rumors that Space Hulk is indeed being worked on for a re-release sometime in September of this year.

They've been saying this on rumor boards for a while now, but the buzz is pretty strong that it is actually happening this time.

If this is indeed true, I will purchase a copy for sure, maybe even two.

To think, I just finished completely painting my set only to get a new one. Smile

There is rumors about this on Bell of Lost Souls, as well. At this point it is only rumor though. BoLS has several inside sources that have been nearly 100% accurate in the past. Ain't it cool news reporting similar rumors is heartening, too.

Warseer, in my opinion, is not accurate, and is full of idiots and whiners (Pete notwithstanding), as well as unsubstantiated rumors.

My fear is that the rumors are coming from one of the many fan sites (like Warseer) and not from any real source. BoLS is pretty accurate on their rumors and very clear on sourcing as well.

If Space Hulk is re-released, it would be a really cool event. I could easily see them adapting the molds from Black Reach for the Terminators. A new Genestealer sprue would be nice, too.

Keep you fingers crossed for this.

If Bell Of Lost Souls has rumors on it, then it is probably about 85 to 90% accurate. They have excellent sources for info.

I am looking forward to this. I hope that the tiles might lend themselves to 40k in terms of playing inside a ship with models other than Genestealers and Terminators.
