R.I.P. HeroClix???Topps is dissolving WizKids and selling it for parts, HeroClix included if they can find a buyer. They will honor the current mail-away Joker offer and send out December prize support. After December 31st, the sound you hear will be crickets chirping.
Maybe it picks up again, maybe it doesn't. I think we will continue running tournies since we do love the game so much. We'll see how many players stick around once prize support dries up.
Very disappointed. I hope Topps collapses and goes out of business.

That is terrible. I feared this would happen when they first bought Wizkids, but after they had it for a few years and put so much into the recent redesign, I'm really suprised and disappointed. Hopefully someone else will pick it up.

My condolences. WE here at CHG have only had positive things to say about the Hawkeye Gaming Club. Hopefully, the license will be picked up by someone else.

It is too bad that congress can approve a 700 billion dollar bailout for companies that pay their executives more in bonuses than Heroclix makes for Topps in a year.
We should write our congressmen for a bailout package for game stores and game companies.
Someone should definitely write a parody of Wizkids as Lehman Brothers.
