Plots and their importanceHey all! During the three weeks of playtesting for ChiCon I went through 5 or 6 decks. Some were just bad, some were (i think) were underplayed. It's tough to know when a deck just isn't good or the plots just aren't doing the work to let your deck shine. How do we know which is which?
Honestly, I don't know. The only thing I do know is tweeking plots for a favored deck can take said pile cardboard and transform it into hotness. Agenda can do the same thing. What I would say is experiment with different agendas AND plots until it clicks (or the best it can do). What defines clicking?
Winning x amount of games. I'd say 70% is a good average. If you have a deck that just won't get over the hump, don't throw it out just yet. Change plots or agendas.
Just my little one to grow on!
