Are we still planning on opening up a one game "preseason" game for new teams/players or teams that do not make the playoffs?

Pretty sure that we are going to try this at least for one more season. I havent discussed it with Drew yet though. It wasnt as popular last season as we would have liked.

I don't have a problem with it...obviously no post-season teams nor the toilet bowl contenders can do an additional one-off -

Also to answer another question that came up, if you have a team in the post season or the toilet bowl you can not play an off season game with a different team. The off season games were add because we took the play offs to 8 teams. This created a situation where 1/2 of the league (8 teams in playoffs and 2 teams in the last place game) were playing an 11th game. We felt it would only be fair to allow the other 1/2 of the league an opportunity to play an 11th game if they wished.

So any team not making the playoff or restarting can play in these games?

Is there a schedule or is just a pick up game?

at the end of the season, Tim willl print up one or two copies of your sheet. Anyone not in the playoffs may play 1 game with one other non-playoff team and turn those sheets in. The game counts - so all skills count, all injuries count, money counts, etc. Deadline wise, we would probably want those in before the finals.

Jason Burns and I played our game prior to the beginning of this season. I plan on taking advantage of this.

Now that the season is finished, is there any coach wanting to play an "offseason" game either Tuesday, Thursday or this weekend? (I only get tuesday or Thursday off, I'm not sure which yet.) Also with Saturday being the 4th I dont know that CHG will be open so this would probably be a sunday game.
