New (old) player in the areaGreetings all,
My name is Christian Haunton and I just moved (back) to Iowa City a few weeks ago. I’m a 2nd/ 3rd edition 40k player who hasn’t played in over 8 years, but I’m interested in trying to get back into it.
I have a Crimson Fist army that I am in the process of 5th edition-izeing, and I though I ought to post here and get a feel for the community that’s out there.
I hope to meet some of you around the gaming table in the months to come.

Hello Christian, I'm in the same boat you are. I have a decade-old half army and am just getting back into the hobby myself. The community at CHG has been extremely helpful and welcoming, and active! Also, the store is holding a planetary empires tourney... first generals' meeting is next saturday, the 22nd.
