So, Jake, how you want to do this? Me and Pete together or One on One?

The concept of Dwarves allied with Greenskins is pretty much totally bonkers.. but if that's they way you want it, let us know
Also, I don't know if you marked off the gold I spent from the last round? I spent 210 gold on round 4.

Vampire counts won against Nate's Beastmen with a massacre. Killing blow makes for an anti-climatic game when it works aginst a lord level character.
How did the Jake and Peter game go?

I won against Jake with a "Solid Victory". I spent 143 gold.
My Orc Arrers held the line against a cavalry charge needing a 3 and rolled a 2 to not break and flee. That was crucial as it held his unit back from my war machines and allowed me to follow up with a big flank charge to wipe out the cavalry (and pegasus rider hero).
Elsewhere on the map, following the calling of the WAAAGH! my new Savage Orc Boar Boys blew through some empire crossbowmen and into a big block of spearmen. In the ensuing combat the Savage Orcs (led by my general) routed them off the board and sent a detachment fleeing into the side of a wizards tower to their doom.
It was a good game with a lot of manuvering by both sides. I must say that Scouts is an incredible advantage as it allowed me to easily place my units into a strong flanking position.

Nate and I still need to play our game. I'm hoping to get that completed this weekend.

Nate wins in a very exciting solid victory. The shaggoth beat the odds and edged out the win for Chaos.

Man - that was by far the most fun game I've played in a long time.

As a witness to the Nate vs. Chris game.... I would just like to add that Chris needed Nate to fail a single save for a 6+ to kill Shaggoth and win the game on like turn 5. Nate made the save and on the following turn smashed Chris's last unit to pieces with the exception of his General. In that combat, Chris needed to roll a 2 to wound Nate's Shaggoth with his General and rolled a 1.
It was really close, those were essentially the last two units on the board for both armies so the game essentially came down to two die rolls for either very low or very high results.
I don't think I've seen a closer game of WFB, it was fun to watch.
