Google adsI'm all for opening up revenue streams, but I find it a little freaky to have Google ads embedded into my individual forum posts.  Maybe I just don't get "out" much on the Internet, but I've never seen that before.

I think we should at least get a penny or two per post from google. I mean we are helping them advertise.

I'm sure it's a product of the free forum software - it's not like Crit Hit is getting paid for the ads.
The Hawkeye Game Club website has a similar issue. We are hosted on a free site (invisionfree). Unless we pay, we get ads. That is what allows the free hosts to work.
