CHG and FFG are joining forces together for a stupid kick-butt board game day!!

No less than 6 SIX employees are traveling down to demo board games on Sat. Nov. 8th!!!

If you haven't had the chance to meet these tireless workers now your chance! Come down to meet THE makers of top rated games such as Decent, BAttlestar Galactica and Wings of War.

CHG will be noting this day with %10 off of all FFG products!! Christmas is around the bend!

BSG's still listed as out in October.

This is pretty cool. Not sure that one game isn't "Descent," though it's fairly decent, people say. Very Happy

I enjoyed playing it a GenCon. Enough so that i have a copy of it on pre-order thru the store.

I'm actually a bit surprised that BSG is getting so much buzz. It does have a lot in theory going for it, but it also sounds like, even by FFG's generally rosy play-length estimates, it takes quite a while. I don't object to that inherently, but a long game isn't everyone's cup of tea.

There's enough awesome stuff they're bringing I doubt one could play it all, but on the off chance we have any say, I'll put in some votes for Tribune: Primus Inter Pares, Kingsburg, and Age of Conan: The Strategy Board Game if they have the prototype.

Now that you mentioned it, Jerod, I'm really looking forward to giving Red November a try. It had completely slipped under my radar.

I wanted to extend a thanks to everyone who came out to support FFG and Jerod's store. We all enjoyed the games and the hospitality, and hope that everyone had fun (even the Cylons!). We hope to see you all again, but NOT because CHG got flooded!

What an awesome time. I especially got a kick out of the immune to events display. I can't wait to see it up in the store. A big thanks to all the FFG folks for making the trip down to give us a taste of their fine games. I can't believe how close our game of Battlestar was. I was disappointed to miss out on Tribune, but glad it got some good reviews.
