CHC Season 8 Week 1Greetings all!
Week one of the Critical Hit Cup is in the books. This season's openning week was particularly violent with many teams recording three or more casualties. One team chose to restart after their week one results. Get 2 Stepin', Logan Knight's Slann team will be retiring from the league and will be replaced by Guardians of Cheese-Ah! a Khemri Team.
There were six deaths during week one. 2-Step, a slann lineman was killed in Get 2 Stepin's openning match. The match between The Dark Side of the Moon of Endor and The Elves of Oz saw a death on both sides with Dark Side losing TK69 (a zombie) and the Elves losing Munchkin #1 (a Line Elf). There were deaths on both sides of the match between Flea Bit'en and The Fancy Lad Brigade as well. The Fancy Lad's lost a Line Elf and Flea Bit'en lost Failgist (a Skaven Blitzer). Most noteably this week finally saw the death of Sysyphus from the Borland Borings. This player was a grizzled veteran and fan favorite and he will be sorely missed.
