There is discussion brewing of a 5 week Warmachine/Hordes escalation league. I am curious about who would be interested in playing.

For those of you who haven't played in our Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Fantasy Battle escalation leagues, here's the lowdown.

Escalation leagues start with lower level games and increase over the course of the league both in game points level and the number of points awarded for winning or losing. There is no set schedule, you play when you want to with no pressure of having to play any games in any given week.

This format greatly benefits people who play often. This makes it a great introduction to league gaming, since winning and losing isn't as important as playing in the long run.

Im interested in playing. I have never played Warmachine but someone last week talked me into buying the rule book and I'm willing to invest in a army.

Do you have any idea what you want to play? I have four different factions, including starter sets for: Menoth, Mercenaries (both Magnus and Gorten), Cygnar, Khador. On the Hordes side I have Circle, Trollbloods, and Legion.

I'd be happy to help you get started and give you a chance to try out some different armies before you start investing.

Cygnar and Kahdor were the armies I found most interesting after reading most of Prime:Remix. If you are willing to teach me to play and introduce me to those armies that would be great. I have this Saturday and Sunday afternoon free.
