Advanced Dungeons and Dragons- Ironman Random Dungeon Crawl.
So Wednesdays or Thursdays are looking like good nights to play some 1st edition AD&D for fun so I thought I would start a new topic to see if people are interested.
The object of the Ironman dungeon crawl is to see how long a party of "hardcore" rolled up characters can survive against the book!
What that means is, players roll their stats up straight out of the book. 4d6, discard the lowest die, assign to a stat (6 times), roll up hitpoints, pick a class, buy your equipment and head down into the dungeons of infinity as written by the late Gary Gygax.
We'll use the random dungeon generation rules as per the AD&D DMG, random monster tables, random treasure and see how long you can last. The map will be drawn as we explore on graph paper and then as an encounter happens we'll switch to a combat grid if we need it. Imagination may provide our battleground depending on the encounter.
Post below if you're interested. The idea is to have some quick and dirty AD&D fun with zero DM obligation. Bring your own miniature if you like and we'll muddle through the old AD&D combat rules as necessary.
If people enjoy this and there is interest, I'll update each week with a leaderboard in XP gained.

You have to be lucky as a duck to survive that tables. I just started an AD&D game on Wensdays. 6-8 pm. Come join!
You have the printing I want too, I have the City of Brass books.

I'll be stopping by tonight to see if anyone's brave enough to attempt this with me.

We've got two survivors continuing the adventure tonight who could use a healer if anyone is interested.
We've got all the books and sheets necessary so bring your dice and a pencil and you're all set.
