"New" guy looking for a skirmish and/or painting bHeya,
Guess I'm not really "new" since I've been dabbling in WH40K since the 80's, but I've just recently got back into the hobby. My largely unpainted army is out of the mothballs and I'm ready to slop on some pigment and knock over some terrain with dice.
I know you all are in the middle of your tourney, but if anyone's up for it, I'd like to skirmish a few times to reacquaint myself with the rules and have a bit of fun (last time I played was probably 2nd ed, so I'm fuzzy at best).
And I also want to finally get my marines properly painted, so if anyone's going to be down at the store with brushes, give me a holler and we can keep each other company while we injure our necks slouching.
So yeah... anyone up for some 40k, shoot me a pm or email.

i need some practice too, so maybe we could shoot at each other for a bit. we could either play/paint here at my house or the store. let me know. i'm looking into trying to get into the PLANETARY champaign (hopefully can remember well enough by then) coming up. so shoot me a pm, here, or pm me and i'll shoot you my #.

kar2nr, sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I did get your message but I am still putting together my army... I've decided to do some magnetizing on my tanks to keep my options open as I'm playtesting different armies, so it could be a bit before I've got anything together other than footsloggers.

just let me know i also have paints and such, so if you want a painting buddy i too am not finished with my boys and i think if i had more "pushing" i'd get them done quicker.

If you want... I can be the "middle man" during your game. I'm not good with rules off the cuff, but I can come help. I am available on Sundays all day, and most week nights (minus Friday).
I can bring my army for someone to use... or to play against. Whateva.
I dont care how many points... or if it's painted or not (mine sure isnt)....

As much as I'd like to watch Chris try to read a rulebook without popping a blood vessel, I'll be out of town. Enjoy the Ork goodness.
