i went to see this movie tonight, not expecting much more than explosions and bad lines to get cheap laughs. i actually enjoyed this movie much more than i expected, that said it was no triumph of cinema. for those of you interested in seeing this movie...its not a real thinker so be careful with your expectations. but if all you want is action and nifty CG robots then this film delivers.

p.s.s there is a suprising amount of profanity in this movie, so if you or you children/young relations have sensitive ears this movie may not be suitable.

My question: How do these gundam operate without a human operator? Are they some sort of remote controlled entity?

transformers are sentient robotic life forms powered by the substance known as energon.

Saw it myself the other day and it has the one problem the first one had in my opinion, too many HUMANS and not enough giant ROBOTS! Other than that it was pretty good and the cg was great. Did not like the twins either as they act like redneck gangsters, you'll know who I'm talking about when you see it.

Seconded. After reading stories of the racist, gold-toothed twins that CAN'T READ to Devastator's wrecking ball testicles to the coffee machine robot's laser gun phallus to the Navy tracking 5 Decepticons to the bottom of the sea, they kill one to resurrect Megatron and then the Navy tracks SIX rising to the surface to the ridiculous plotholes (the Shard brings Bots back to life but instead of just raising Optimus, they raise Jetfire, he teleports insteads of flies, they go through about 6 steps to raise Prime), just on and on...

Granted, I read all this, didn't see it for myself but after seeing the first piece of garbage, I swore I would never see another BayFormers 'film'.
