Post subject: Play D&D every other Thursday at Critical Hit Games!
The purpose of the Critical Hit Delve Night is to give players a chance to try out 4th edition Dungeons and Dragons, meet other players, and test new character builds with all the new material that's coming out.  We typically run BYOC (Bring Your Own Character), but starting this week, I'll have a couple of pre-generated characters.  The game is very informal, and you don't have to show up every time.  We run every 2nd and 4th Thursday at Critical Hit, starting at 7 pm.

As WotC isn't releasing new Delve material anymore, I'd like to start fresh.  I've been running my own material for a few months now, and have decided to continue doing so.  However, we've been running at higher levels, and the game has become less accessible to new players.  Therefore, I'd like to do a reboot of the campaign.  The plot framework (below) will stay the same, but we'll keep things at a lower level.  If you've played before, feel free to bring a lower-level version of your character, or to try something new.

New players and old are welcome; we'll be starting at 5th level on Thursday, July 23. Any character race or class which has been released in a book as a *player option* is welcome.  (I will allow classes and races that have been released in Dungeon or Dragon as playtest player options, but once they are published in a book, please use the book version to avoid confusion.)  If you can, please bring a copy (photocopies are ok) of any abilities which are not in the three core books so you can refer to them if needed.

Our intrepid adventurers have journeyed to the coastal city of Salthaven, and their services have been retained by a merchant who needs their assistance to stabilize and expand his trade operations.  They have journeyed to a remote mining village, to recapture an aerium mine which has been overrun by brigands... who are shapeshifters?!?
